    Here it is!

    Good news is surgery can be done! It seems that the tumor in the left lung has grown into my heart.  I will be having left bottom portion of lung removed, then they will be breaking a rib, and then stopping my heart to remove tumor in "one" piece from the heart valve.  That is the jest of everything, this is a little scary, but not as scary if it was "inoperable", so we are very happy to get this surgery out of the way and are looking forward to a great Spring and Summer.  No surgery date yet, have to meet the cardiac surgeon on Tuesday, and from there I will be getting my call for a surgery date!  Please continue prayers and well wishes, we are so thankful for them all!

    I will let everyone know when I get a surgery date!

    That's big stuff Brenda. Cry  I will keep you in my prayers, as I'm quite sure many here will do the same.  I'll pray too that your surgeons hands are blessed with a skill, quickness and gentleness to do what needs to be done and get the heck out, leaving you with many healthy years after recovery.

    Lucky you - you'll be getting rid of the buggers! Fox is right - keep your mind on the outcome. This, too, will recede, soon enough, in the rear-view mirror. Happy birthday.

    Surgery Date!

    Hi All,

         I have finally gotten a surgery date, seems it is quite difficult to set up two specialist sugereons (lung and heart) for a same day, same time surgery, but it is going to be on April 15.  I will be going in the hospital on April 14 and surgery the next day! I will try and post as soon as I can after surgery!

    7 Days Left

    Jojo,

         I have 7 days left before my surgery.  I am little nervous about this one, but it will be alright! How are you doing? Hoping everything is really good for you! I was just thinking about DJennie the other day, I sure do miss her.  No matter what she always said the right thing! Praying everything is good for you and that it continues to be that way for you!
