Need Support
I have endometrial cancer metastatic to both lungs. I am currently getting carboplatin and paclitaxel every third week. I have had 5 treatments with no major side effects. I am just more tired on the third day following treatment. PET scan showed tumors reducing by mm and no new tumors shown. I am still feeling great most of the time. My activities are about the same as before the recurrence. Is there another survivor out there with this diagnosis?

I'm sure there are ladies on
I'm sure there are ladies on this board who have had their cancer spread to their lungs and are in treatment. I'm glad your treatment is working for you. What stage were you diagnosed originally? What grade?

Hi, Joyce
sorrry to hear about the recurrence. I have metistatic endrometialrial cancer, but mine has not spread to my lungs. It follows my lymphatic system and had been and had returned to my neck near my aorta, one spot in my thorax near the aorta, it has been on my liver. it really likes my abdomen near my intestines. I have been on treatment for recurrence for over 2 years now. Some times we make progress and sometimes not so much. I have many more good days than bad. If your spots are not growing and shrinking that is certainly good news. Hugs and prayers to you. You can do it. Lou Ann

I was originally diagnosed in 2012 with a Stage 1 intermediate tumor. I had recurrence in October of 2015.
