First scan after starting Votrient

Pet scan result: Stable for now.

The lymph node has shrunk from 2.3 cm x 3 cm to 1.8 cm x 2.1 cm, however SUV uptake went from 4.8 to 5.5.

The 9 mm node on my right lung has disappeared.

The 4 mm node on the left lung has grown to 1.1 but shows minimal SUV uptake (could be inflammatory).

There is still lingular infiltrate in the lung with minimal SUV uptake (again, could be inflammatory).

For now, stable is good. And no signs of metastasis to any other organs.

For now will continue Votrient 800 mg daily.

    you deserve to go out and get yourself something that lasts a long time. Not like a loaf of bread. More like green bananas. Or a balloon trip around the world. Good news uplifts all of us.

    And at 800mg! Very impressive. When someone proves to be that tough. I say get aggressive. I hate that all new plans are made as a result of growth of tumors. Your tumors are vulnerable to being controlled. Zap or cut out the buggers, stay on meds, and take out all invaders. Why do they draw out this game so damn long?
