Treatment is over-am I cancer free
I finally finished my treatment-2 weeks post radiation...now I find my self wondering if the cancer is gone (stage 2 no mets no nodes). I guess I just have to wait ?

Hello,
I also had stage II no mets, and I completed tx on 6-30-2009 so far so good. The waiting is the hardest part. After your 1st couple of scans where it says your fine, you'll start feeling better. I know every scan I get scared, I guess its just what you have to do you do. On the other hand, if there is anything wrong its found out really quickly.
I wish you well Lori.

I was also diagnosed Stage 1 or 2 (depending on which of my doctors you asked) with no nodal involvement or mets. If it gives you any encouragement, that was in June 2008. Fast forward to February 2016 and I am still here. I do deal with some treatment-related issues, but so far I have maintained my NED status. None of us likes the waiting for find out scan or test results, but it is part of the deal, I guess. I hope you are recovering well. I think you have every reason to be hopeful that your cancer is gone.

I was diagnosed in 2011,
I was diagnosed in 2011, stage 4, mets to 3 nodes and liver. After treatment I worried constantly before each scan Over time those worries faded. My oncologist told me cancer usually comes back in the first 2 years so once I made it past 2 years my concerns subsided a lot
