I am so sorry you are going thru so much, yet I am so happy that your doctor's are staying on top rather than take a wait and see approach.   I hope you can find something fun this next wee k to take you away from it for at least a while.

 Since gas is so cheap alot of our pink sisters can all get together and we can all go for an all day pink sister day out the day before your surgery. We can drive all day long and hang out the windows and sing THE WHEELS ON THE BUS GO ROUND AND ROUND. But before the day is over with I figure all of us pink sisters will be going ROUND and Round. We will absolutely come with you and wait while you have surgery. And I'm glad the doctor is avoiding the Big C word as you put it. No point in using it unless we have to:) So get yourself set up at home, all the things we do when we know we're gonna be out of commission for a while. Try to get in some fun, too. Though I know it's hard to have fun when worrying, at least, that's the way I am.

What is the surgery they will be doing, Pat?  I have no idea how they get to tumors in the stomach.  Via the esophagus?  Abdominal?  Laparoscopic?

well I would like to get on that pink bus for sure.  It will be my first trip so looking forward to it Pat.  I am a retired teacher but I used to teach arts and crafts so I think I will just whip up such sparkly pink wands with long pink ribbons and we can wave them out the open windows of the bus. A little bit of glitter is just what we need.
