Surgery Done
sitting in my hospital room, had my 2fer gallbladder removal and right partial neph. the universe is a jokester yesterday my home heater died and it was 18 degrees outside in Utah. So I spent the day dealing with that. In hindsight that was probably a good thing because it kept my mind off of today. When I had my pre surgery appointments the gallbladder doc said his part was quick and done. Well the gallbladder ended up taking far longer than the kidney. Gallbladder was stuck to liver and intestines. as thought 10% of top of kidney removed with cyst. They thought the gallbladder problems was going require a change to open surgery but didn't. I'm walking around the unit. Feeling pretty good considering. Plan is to go home tomorrow. Thanks for all of the positive energy, you guys are great.

As I shared earlier. You will be ready for the Superbowl whether rested or not. Be sure to have a comfortable recliner ready.

be riding as soon as spring comes. About 7 years ago I rode to Laconia just a couple weeks after cholecstetectomy and only a couple months after my nephrectomy 5 years ago.

Gallbladder
Oooh, yeah, my gallbladder was stuck to the liver as well and I was not so lucky... the Doc did have to convert to open so now I'm sporting a lovely 6.5 inch scar right under my right ribcage. AND my tumor was on the left side, so the kidney surgeon couldn't do the gallbladder at the same time. Oh, well. Everything happens for a reason I guess! Glad it went smoothly for you!

anything disapoints me it is they removed my GB and never saw the kidney tumor which was at least 2-4cm minimum. But for you just keep in mind that we are like a Harley. Lot's of parts can be removed and performance won't suffer.
