SORRY GUYS! HUSBAND OPEN HEART SURGERY
So sorry guys for such a statement. I wrote from the hospital my husband had open heart surgery and the recovery is not as we thought it would be.
I am now 6 years ned and I always check in but a thing name "life" often gets in the way. I don't know how many of you remember just two years after my dx my daughter was dx with leukemia and passed a year after which broke our hearts.
So now again, I am the caregiver and hoping that my dear husband pulls through this soon.
I love all you ladies, especially those who take the time to keep up with everyone.
May our great creator of all life give you all the strength and endurance.

Oh Nempark!
Sometimes life just throws us more than we can bear! I am so sorry to hear about your husband. You know that we are all pulling for you. It is so hard to understand why so much pain and loss is put in our path. I hope you have someone with you now! Your husband made it through surgery and has survived this far which is a great sign. Please take care of yourself and hold onto the time you still have with your husband. The love you share endures and will give him strength in his battle for life. I am sorry this message is so disjointed! In love and hope, Sandy

No Apologies...Ever!
I, to, am so sorry to hear of your husbands health! I have had three open heart surgerys in the last five years, the last on, last March! The recovery was sooo much worse the last time that I couldn't even compare it to the other two! I had two aortic heart valves replaced due to a birth defect no one detected. This last go-round they also found another birth defect in my heart, a hole between the upper two chambers of the heart. Of course, they didn't fix the hole, they want me to have a fourth surgery! No, no way, nada! This last one I still havent recovered from completely! It will be hard, but he will slowly get better and get his strenght back. Be careful of your health...the stress can wreack you! Life can throw some Lulus at us. I remember your daughter. I lost one of my infant sons and had two miscarriages, so know the feeling of having to bury your child. Stay strong, keep the faith, breath, and know you are very much thought of! Best, Debrajo

I am so sorry for all you've
I am so sorry for all you've been through and are currently having to endure. No one should ever have to bury their child - it's heartbreaking. Open heart surgery is a major health event with a long recovery time and your husband is lucky to have you by his side.
I'm glad to hear you are currently showing NED but stress can be a trigger so be sure to take care of yourself too.
Love,
Eldri

Sending hugs!
Sorry I haven't been writing much on here lately. So sorry to hear about your husband situation. I hope all is going well with him now. My husband, too, is going through some stuff. He has had three biopsies so far. The first two were inconclusive and negative. This last one possible for pancreatic cancer. Also, after the last procedure he had a reaction to the anessthesia and had severe shaking which scared the crap out of us. Now we are trying to figure out what is going on and now have an appointment with a digestive surgeon/oncologist to figure out what the heck this is. In the middle of all that I started a new job with benefits while also working for my husband. I am tired but think of everyone on this site.
So dear Nempark, I am sending you many hugs.

your way. So sorry to hear about your husband's surgery. I hope his recovery continues and gets better for both of you.
And Kathy, WTF? Hope you get to the bottom of his issues and that it's not a serious condition with him.
My best wishes to both of you in your worries about your husbands' health issues.

I'm so sorry you're going through all of this, Kathy. There should be a law that we only have to deal with one health problem at a time in a family!! When I had my tubal ligation I had a bad reaction to the anesthesia and shook violently - almost like a seizure. They knocked me back out with something else and then brought me out of it slowly and I was fine.
I hope your new job goes well too! It's hard enough to start a new job without having to worry about all this.
Love,
Eldri

Husband surgery
I remember your posts from 2009. I hope your husband is recovering by now. Gosh you certainly have had so much to deal with. Just know that we are here for you anytime you post. Life has so many struggles....our bodies are so strong yet so fragile. ((Hug))
