Let's Do The Time Warp Again
When I checked the board it seemed overrun with threads. I actually clicked back to Discussion Boards and back in case I somehow wound up in the wrong place. Some of them seem to be gone now, but it seems a couple of trolls and spammers may be out and about.

Interesting!
I just read all three pages of Pete's thread.
I wonder how he is doing, if he is still around. He was banned from this forum.
Sad to see those who have passed, too many of them.
And yes, a couple of old threads have been ressurected, which is interesting.

Here today and someplace else tomorrow?
Here today and someplace else tomorrow?
It all depends on how you have your browser set up, and if you’re looking at an old thread that was dredged up, flagged, and sent back into history.
I set my browser to get the latest edition of a page each time I refresh or visit a page. I found it’s the best way to get where you want to go. Otherwise, you’ll be looking at yesterday’s news until you manually refresh the page.
(just sayin’)
All forums have their share of “trolls” and scammers, so there’s nothing new or unexpected here. The web is full of garbage and when you’ve been around as long as some of us have been, you’ve pretty much have seen it all. If you’re old enough, you may remember the telephone party line. Your phone service was shared with many others and anyone could listen in to other’s conversation. Well….. The Internet isn’t any different; you’re sharing the line with a few billion others, and anyone that’s into hacking can listen in…It really isn’t all that difficult!
Welcome to the wonderful world of garbage in; garbage out!
Be well,
John

Pete has continued to do "his thing" with German doctors and off label stuff. I can't remember what number his last trip was.
He was back in Australia for Christmas and is scheduled for a Peritonecomy surgery there on Feb. 2. I gather it is for his liver.
His current health is so-so as the last German treatments seem to have been overpowering....weakness...loss of muscle.
Last he reported I think his CEA was over 200...which was down some from pervious report.
He continues to be confident he can find a cure...

for the info on Pete.
I am glad that he is alive and kicking. Obviously something works, but I doubt it was the dead toads, or whatever that one bizzare treatment was.
He is an interesting fella, and I used to enjoy his posts, even when they left me a little confused. I certainly wish him well, and hope he keeps on trying to be the one who finds the cure.
