And the doctors say that by surgery we cannot remove the lymph node as tis location is mediastinal so in what way will the lymph node can be treated

    lymph node involvement

    Hi Ajinkya,

First let me say that I am sorry that your mother has to fight this disease. This is my experience: when I was diagnosed I had supraclavical lymph node involvement, it was treated with chemotherapy and radiation. I did not have surgery for those nodes but did have all of the lymph nodes under my armpit removed at the time of my surgery. I know that this is a scary time for you and your family, this board has a wealth of information so please don't hesitate to ask any questions or address any concerns.   Love surf
