TAS 102
Hi all, I haven't been around much. Have some catching up to do. Been thinking of Jeff and Mags...hope you are both dealing with your setbacks okay and were able to enjoy the holidays.
My husband's scan at the end of November, showed progression in the bones. Still has only had bone mets - and that one pesky distant lymph node at diagnosis. So folfiri with erbitux has failed. She suggested he try TAS 102 and if that doesn't work, maybe back to Folfox. TAS 102 has been backordered for weeks so he has not been feeling great while waiting for the drug to come in - really hoping it helps turn things around..we expect to have the pills tomorrow. My father also passed away 3 weeks ago, just a little over a year since mom died. My poor kids have been through too much in the last few years.
I know TAS 102 is so newly approved, I'm not finding much information. Anyhow have any info to share?

Hi Jen. I am aware of TAS-102
Hi Jen. I am aware of TAS-102 and have discussed it with my onc but we are waiting on that. We are doing FOLFIRI again but with Cryamza added to it. Cryamza was just approved for colon cancer and is similar to Avastin. Just another option out there. Sorry to here about your father. You really are a warrior.
