    SORRY BUT ALL THOSE ABBREVIATIONS ARE JUST TOO MUCH FOR THIS OLD LADY.........

    I can barely remember my own name.........  and when I'm reading all this stuff about this DREAD DISEASE....to add all the Abbreviations just adds to the stress as far as I'm concerned.   But hey....that's just me..........

    Yes - there are quite a few of them - however,

    i find this list helpful as Medical Staff talk in code - hahaha

    Abbreviation list

    Is there any place that this list can be printed?  It seems so useful it should be printed in the American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Dictionary that I received from the hospital.

    Do you know how to use copy/paste with your computer? You could copy the list and paste it into a word document that you could print.

    Agree with puffin -

    copy abd paste to your personal computer -- you can adjust font size and re-position, save and print for your own personal use, or reference

    What I do now is just GOOGLE IT   :)    Works for me   :)

    Hi people, allow me to

    Hi people, allow me to introduce myself, Im NewToCancer9, diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in April, began chemotherapy in May. Im so new to this, Im hardly ever sick. Cancer is my only major illness I've ever had, Im usually not ill, healthy and this cancer in my breast has me trippin'!!!! I only had 1 chemo treatment,  lost all of my hair already (is this normal???), I lost 12 lbs already, and became ill with a sore throat, my white cell count was ZERO so they cancelled the next chemo for today (I was supposed to have had it on the 27th of May). So, I get my 2nd chemo treatment today, at 12pm. I hope my cell count is up to par, I had 5 Neupogen shots (1 shot a day for 5 days), Im still on antibiotics for my sore throat, which is much better now, and Im scared, basically. I had an MRI last week and they saw a "suspicious" area of concern on my MRI, so I have to have a biopsy Tuesday. Im hoping like HELL it aint anotha cancer area .... I'm hoping I get thru this ordeal successfully with no spreading of cancer cells, no recurrences and that MY HAIR GROWS BACK ASAP and that its still strong thick and curly as it was before chemo took it all away ....   p.s., I am 53 yrs old. 

    I am hoping I can use this forum for support, to learn and share, make new friends, as well as give support, while I go thru this journey. 

    CancerCare.Org referred me here .....  (pls pardon any typos)

    Thanks for the list.  I'm very new to all this and even some of the hospital forms listed a few without any definition!

    Bx= biopsy

    TP=triple positive. ER+ (estrogen positive), PR+ (progesterone positive), and HER2+
