NED
Hi everyone. I've been lurking around these days trying to keep up on all that is happening. I had my one year scan done last week and although I have not gotten the official word, I believe that I have had a visit with uncle NED. I have seen the films and am still waiting for the report. Films to me show a couple of cysts on my remaining kidney, but otherwise a pretty good looking kidney that seems to be working like a champ. I follow up with my doc in a couple of weeks.
I wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. A little over a year later, I am in a much better place and still thankful for early detection and a wonderful support sytem here at CSN.

Fan-tas-tic! Congratulations! And it is good to know that anxiety does gradually subside after all.

Report is in. I have a large 4.5 x 4.0 x 3.9 cyst in the upper pole. Separation is thin. Also another simple cyst about 2cm. Also multiple sub centimeter lesions thst can't be characterized because they're too small, but have cystic appearance. No definitive suspicious mass or lymphadenopathy. So, I'll take it.
