Mastectomy tomorrow

Tomorrow morning is my surgery. I am having a RT mastectomy with expander inserted & reduction on the LT. I've had so much trouble deciding on what size I want to be. I'm a DDD now that's why I'm having the reduction. First I told Dr a large C. Then at my preop exam yesterday I told him a D. He seemed annoyed at me. Then he said well lets just make it bettween the 2. I said closer to D he said yeah but seemed distracted. So now I'm worried. I want to make sure I get a D. I'm overweight & also have broad shoulders. Usually a physician assistant comes in to check records & I was thinking of making sure he puts a note there for the plastic surgeon. I'm afraid I'll go too small & regret it. Anyway, it's kind of weird but I'm not really stressing or very nervous, maybe I will be in the am. I trust my surgeon. She's nice too. I got 3 of the same opinions but these were the best team. I've put off the surgery for months. So I can't wait any longer.

    I'ts not too late to book the PINK BUS for some of us to ride along for moral support. I be the first one to board to bus!

    I'll hop on the pink bus, too.  I'll have cream cheese, bagels and coffee for us all.  You will do great.  I believe the surgeon and anesthesiologist will come and talk to you before they take you into surgery.  They did for me.  That's when I learned I would get a bladder catheter, too.  You can express the desire for a D cup at that time, again. Please update us when you can so we know all is well.  Peace, prayers, and love to you.
