Trach OUT!!!
My FIL had his trach removed today (so excited)! Any idea on how long it will take for the hole in his neck to heal?

Congrats to FILwmc said:That's good news
I don't know how long but I think it is fairly quick like about 8 to 10 days to be good, but I may be wrong as I did not look it up. Mine is a perminate one which is much different, it is a stoma.
That is huge, I hated the trach. I was amazed that mine closed in 2-3 days if memory serves me right...I know it was quick.
