Bleeding

I had my hysterectomy September 30th with no complications except a UTI.  Today I started bleeding.  I did about 20 minutes of EASY exercise this morning for the first time since surgery. I came back from the hospital where I went for my blood test and found it.  It's stopped now.  All afternoon I played telephone tag with my doctor's PA.  I was on hold twice for over half an hour.  She did tell me in one of her messages my WBC was quite low and they'd like me stay home another week.  I've had a temp all week but it never went above the 100.3 they said was the trigger to call.

I'm at our lake house for the weekend and she did say my obgyn/oncologist is on call this weekend.  I'm waiting to see what tomorrow will bring.  I've also lost 19# since September 1st and my hair continues to fall out.  Thankfully I have the best family in the world!!

Im heading to bed.  Good night, my friends.

Take care,

Eldri

    So sorry!

Oh Eldridge, I'm so sorry you are having such a hard time. It's probably nothing serious, as you are still healing, but I would give your doctor a call if you have any more bleeding or continue to run a low grade fever. I know that my temp is normally around 97 degrees, so 100 degrees feels like a big fever to me. I hope you start feeling better very soon. Sandy

Be careful with the exercise!  My doctor would not let me do ANYTHING except walk for 6 weeks. No housecleaning even.

I did have some spotting off and on until about 2.5 months after the surgery.  Turned out to be "normal".

Like Sandy said, it is best to ask.

I hope you feel better soon.

    Hugs and Love,

    Cindi

    Same here, Sandy....my normal

Same here, Sandy....my normal temp is 97.4 or so.  It does worry me when it gets over 100 because I can sure feel it.  I'm going to physical therapy on Monday and I'll ask about the exercise before I go.

    Take care,
