Off Topic: Patch of Ringworm under son's arm
anyone have any experience how to clear this up? Dermatologist confirmed ringworm and suggested drug store cream anti-fungal. It has been four weeks of day and night application with no clearing. I am freaked by this and have been washing everything obsessively because I don't want to get it!

Hi Daisy:
My daughter had this years and years ago when she was still in diapers on her inner thigh and leg. If memory serves, I had a prescription cream to put on it and over a two week period is faded away. There was a definite improvement in just a few days. Never knew where or how she got it. Sorry but I just don't remember what the prescription cream was. If anything, ask a pharmacist and they may be able to point you in the right direction.

I caught it a few years ago.
I caught it a few years ago. I had prescription cream and an oral drug. It took weeks to get rid of. I was putting the cream on and then putting gauze over that to protect it and so people couldn't see it. My daughter's horse had it last year and it took well over a month to go away.

I was getting a massage and the gal noticed what appeared to be ringworm. Truth was I had been on the losing side in an intense paintball battle.

maybe
Years ago, I had a problem start like this when vitamin D deficient (didn't know yet) and "normal" high carb American diet. In winter, all winter, could just barely tamp it down with hydrogen peroxide and higher powered creams.
My best short answer then: sunlight, lots more vitamin C and D3, maybe zinc, magnesium, iodine and B50, drastically cut carb intake, with a 2 week treatment of topical Genetian Violet, an old OTC generic that looks like hell (that violet color). See also the leaky gut syndrome and yeast books for longer, systemic, immune based **natural** answers. Never since.

Drug name
Lamisil AF. It works the most quickly. Any of the OTC athletes foot remedies work.
Do you have a dog or cat? It's time to worm.
