My name is Kelly. I live in Montana. In 2003 I was diagnosed with stage 3C Ovarian cancer. I had surgery to remove the cancer then did 6 rounds of chemo. The chemo they used was Taxol or Taxatere. I lost my hair, i was sick but over all it wasnt as bad as It could have been. I have been cancer free since 2003

Stage IIIC Survivor
I was diagnosed with aggressive ovarian cancer in 2009. My debulking was suboptimal. After surgery, I did 8 rounds of Carbo/Taxol/Avastin and incorporated the expertise of alternative doctors and a naturopath. I have been cancer-free since completing my firstline treatment in 2010. My alternative practitioners supported me through chemo, and I did not suffer any permenant side effects. After treatment, my naturopath spent 5 years making my body healthy, and I changed my diet and lifestyle. Today, I am healthier than I was for years before my diagnosis. Best of luck to you.

Hi. I was dx in Oct 2013 with stage 3c ovarian carcinosarcoma. I had surgery and 6 rounds of Carbo/Taxol. In feb 2015 had my first recurrence. It was only in one spot, on the diaphram. Had surgery and 5 rounds of Carbo/Taxol. Carbo/Taxol was used again because I had responded well the first time with this combo. I was suppose to get 6 rounds but my white bloodcount would not come back to normal. So it was decided to skip the 6th treatment. As of 1 month ago I am NED.
