Frequent Urination like every 30 minutes
I am post 3 weeks of radiation and am now experiencing frequent urination almost every 30 minutes. At first I thought it was a UTI but it is not. Has anyone else experienced this post to radiation and does it go away? I really appreciate any input anyone has as well as any suggestions that could come this down as it is very difficult to go to the bathroom every 30 minutes and get anything done thank you

Thanks LisaLisa 00 said:some sort of cystitis
Hi,
I had this same problem after radiation. There is an over the counter medication, Uristat or 'urinary pain relief' available at your local drug store. It is literally a life saver for me. It will take care of the 'need' to go.

Thank you Lisa for replying to my message. How long did this last for you after your radiation? Did it clear up in a couple of weeks or how long does it take? Thank you!

My doctor had me drinking 8 oz a day during and after radiation. It will help with the irritated bladder. Hugs.

1 3/4 post chemo.
I'm still having frequent urination. They have checked to see if I had a UTI but I was fine. I know I am trying to drink more water and I know that makes you have to go more and I know that when I drink caffienated tea, I urinate more but it still feels like I have to pee alot more often since my hysterectomy than before. I didn't have radiation, so I can't help you there, so I would encourage you to get ahold of your oncologist's office and ask them. That would be my advice for you.
