Chemo Port for Bendamustine+ rituximab

Hi everyone,

I am preparing to undergo 6 months of chemo with the combination of Bendamustine+ rituximab. I was told by my doctor that I would require a port and am feeling anxious about the procedure and its effects. Anyone have any experience with this?

    May I ask if you dont mind why your doc has decided its time for you to have treatment?  Just trying to decide if I need a second opinion since I am not being treated yet and my numbers seem so much higher than a lot of others....

    I had the port put in and it

    I had the port put in and it was no big deal at all. Just stAy positive and try to keep eating whatever you can. I did laps on the hospital unit and made a lot of jewelry.
