Thanks for asking Sue. I have
Thanks for asking Sue. I have been following the boards but haven't felt like saying much lately. I am still struggling since surgery which is nearly 6 weeks ago. I am still dealing with pain, occassional upset stomach and worst of all extreme fatigue. When I say fatigue I mean falling asleep at work even though I got plenty of sleep. The fatigue has been going on for a few months even though I haven't done any chemo in 4 months. My oncologist thinks it is just a result of all the trauma my body has been through lately. I did get out on my Harley for a short ride last week and ride the stationary bike a few days a week. But I would sure love my old self back, moutain biking and/or motorcycle riding nearly every day of the week. I have a scan in the begining of November. Hopefully I will still be stable since all of the proceedures. I will officially be a 10 year stage IV survivor in a couple of weeks. I will post then on my cancerversery.

On the positive side i started feeling pretty good in the afternoon yesterday so I took my Harley out for a 30 minute ride. Man did that feel good.

Keep that chin up, Jeff
I'm happy to hear that you've been able to get out on your Harley a few times, Jeff. I know what a boost that will give you, and boosts are sometimes hard to come by when you are struggling.
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I know that it can be hard just composing a post when your in pain, or distracted by all of your woes.
Know that we are always thinking of you. Routing for you. Getting the cyber love going.
Here is a group hug for you .

Hey Jeff,
I commented to you on the nausea thread (that's something you'd probably only read on a cancer forum, huh?), but wanted to say it here in case you didn't see the other one...you're in my thoughts and I really hope things are improving. These big surgeries can really knock you on your butt for a while in my experience. Can take months to get back to "normal", whatever that is for us these days.
