How are you doing?
Hi Connie, Sorry for the delay in reply. This last month has been a little crazy. My fatherinlaw passed away, my soninlaw's lung collapsed on the day of the funeral, and then after those events were stabalized we had to jump in the car and head to So. Calif. for our grandson's baptism. We have been back for 2 days and leave tomorrow for our 50th high school reunion. There has been no time for anything. I have a mammogram next week (a repeat, has me nervous) and a CT scan the following week which will give us some idea who the Avastin treatment is going. I had labs today, and chemo tomorrow and have decided not to even inquire as to the lab results from today. They will be done again in another 3 weeks and I just want to go to this reunion and enjoy, not being stressed about some number. I think things are OK. I feel good. Have had no significant issues all summer and things have held steady so I'm counting on good news. The mammogram makes me nervous, but I understand that at my age they do a lot of repeats due to dense breast tissue as we get older. That's what they told me. It is inconveivable to me that I could have gone through nearly two straight years of chemo and then suddenly have breast cancer. But other than that, at the moment, I'm doing fine. I'll let everyone know how the tests turn out later this month. Thanks for checking!

What wonderful news. i am so
What wonderful news. i am so excited for you. Hugs and prayers, Lou Ann
I think i missed the date on this post and commented twice, but that's ok I still am so happy that maybe this is working for you.
My sugeon/ gyn-onc didn't want me to wait 6 weeks to rtestart chemo , so my appointment was moved up to this coming Monday. Don't know what kind it will be. He was talking about maybe trying to find a way to make the taxol/ Carbo work.
