NED
On May 12th I was diagnosed with stage 4 right tonsil cancer with multiple node mets. May 27th I started 35 treatments of radiation with 5 treatments of Erbitux. Today, the 7th day of October, my Follow-up PET Scan shows no evidence of any remaining disease. Hmmm, the 7th, seems a familiar number to me. On the 7th day God rested from all His works(Genesis). I truthfully can say treatment was the hardest period of my life. It was also an excercise in faith and trust in God in all. Many thanks to many on this board who helped get me through some dark times during and after treatment. This board is truly a Blessing. <><

NED is GOOD...............
Yes it is a very rough road to go down and it will test you in every way. You also learn to see somethings a little different and what things in life that really matter. You have made the journey and got to hear the word NED [No Evidence of disease] a new word you never knew not that long ago. This is one you wil hear a lot now, so be proud of yourself as you just beat the beast. Celebrate with your family as you sure earned it.
