Talk Away
I'm new to the network but thankfully heading into the home stretch on my treatment. Joined for the very same reason. Luckily, I've been feeling great since my pathology results but having "reality moments" when I think about everything that has happened in the past eight months. Would love to chat.

Hang in...Suecal said:Hi, I'm new
I am new here, just found out yesterday that I have bc so I am really lost as to what to think or do, but I've always been there for others. I'll talk with you. I already know what it's like to feel alone, it stinks. Say what you like, I'm here for you.
My diagnosis was a punch in the gut like I've never felt before. I've learned a lot going through 6 rounds of chemo, surgery, and now radiation and continued chemo. Lots of side effects but can be managed if you know what to expect. The nurses and the ACS website were great but found some other sources to help. Happy to share or answer any questions you might have. It's all still really fresh in my mind.

Allison, it's very normal to
Allison, it's very normal to be feeling down. I go through it as well as i'm sure alot of survivors do. I look at it as the cancer is gone, that was the worst part, I'll take whatever treatment is given to me because at least I get to live to make that choice and every day is a new page and every week is a new chapter iny book.

Here!
hi Allison, I know that you posted this a while ago, but if you still want to talk, I do too!! I am in the middle of a recurrence and feeling scared and alone. I only told a few people, and no one even gets it anyway, so I'm feeling super down. Maybe we can pick each other up?!
