Just looking for someone to talk to... Been feeling down lately and could really use some support. thank u all

    Pull up a chair

    All of the Pink sisters is here to listen...and do their best to perk you up.  I've been there and it's no fun.   However you have come to the right place and use the chat room.  I love the chat room you find people there all hours of the day and night.

    I am new here, just found out yesterday that I have bc so I am really lost as to what to think or do, but I've always been there for others. I'll talk with you. I already know what it's like to feel alone, it stinks. Say what you like, I'm here for you.

    I'm new to the network but thankfully heading into the home stretch on my treatment.  Joined for the very same reason.  Luckily, I've been feeling great since my pathology results but having "reality moments" when I think about everything that has happened in the past eight months.  Would love to chat.

    My diagnosis was a punch in the gut like I've never felt before.  I've learned a lot going through 6 rounds of chemo, surgery, and now radiation and continued chemo.  Lots of side effects but can be managed if you know what to expect.  The nurses and the ACS website were great but found some other sources to help.  Happy to share or answer any questions you might have.  It's all still really fresh in my mind.  Wink

    Allison, it's very normal to be feeling down. I go through it as well as i'm sure alot of survivors do. I look at it as the cancer is gone, that was the worst part, I'll take whatever treatment is given to me because at least I get to live to make that choice and every day is a new page and every week is a new chapter iny book.

    I can definitely relate. I originally joined in 2010 the ladies here are so encouraging, positive and fun! This is truly a wonderful place to hang out. I hope today is better for you.

    I was diagnosed April 15, 2015 with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy May 5, 2015.  I am a total nervous wreck.  I would love to have someone to chat with.  I am so scared.

    Just waiting on pathology report. Had lumpectomy, sentinel node biopsy and bilateral reduction last Thursday. Don't really know how to use this site.

    You sound like me. i had surgery last Thursday and am waiting on pathology. The wait is the hardest.

    I have never been to the chat

    I have never been to the chat rooms, ONLY disccusion boards.

     

    Are chat rooms on going discussion? like Instant message and text messges?

    hi Allison, I know that you posted this a while ago, but if you still want to talk, I do too!! I am in the middle of a recurrence and feeling scared and alone. I only told a few people, and no one even gets it anyway, so I'm feeling super down. Maybe we can pick each other up?!

    I am terrified and bracing

    I am terrified and bracing myself. Yesterday went for diagnostic mama ND ultrasound. Dr came in and I knew that was not good. I feel like aI have been punched in the stomach. I don't know what to do but am making apps for biopsy. I am freaking out
