Great Strength
Carol,
I have followed you forever on these boards and wish to let you know what tremendous strength you have given to so many. I wish you well everyday and know that hope is always there in the smile of our loved ones and the laughter our hearts have shared. Godspeed Carol.
Much Love,
Jessica

It is with great sadness that I must inform you, on Doug's behalf, that his beloved Carole passed today just before noon. Her final hours were peaceful, with Doug spending the night awake and next to her holding her hand. Through the night she was still able to acknowledge his squeeze. Through yesterday she was lucid, strong, and having conversations with both Doug and me. I was privileged to be able to witness Doug's constant caring and love for her. I know you all share with me a deep respect for the good fight she gave, and the courage and grace she displayed in the face of death.
Services will be held in Worthington, Minnesota. Final details are pending, and will be posted on this site.
Entry by Pam Arnold (Doug's cousin), as we await the momentary arrival of his sister Barb and brother-in-law Ted, rushing here from Missouri.posted today on CaringBridge (9/11/15)
taken from the Ovarian cancer board.
