Hello
Hi Everyone,
What a fantastic board. I have been browsing here and the uterine cancer board. I live in the UK so treatment is far more restricted than the US.
I have stage 1C, have had initially key hole surgery in September 2012 where my tube, ovary and cyst were removed, histology showed cells within the cyst so I returned, reluctnatly, for a full hysterectomy to include right ovary, tube, womb, cervix, omentum and biopsies from sigmoid colon and bowel. All returned clear. I had one dose of Carboplatin as adjuvant treatment. Then stopped.
My Ca125 before surgery was 34. After surgery 7 eventually rising and staying at 15. In May 2015 at aa routine check my CA125 was 47. Consultant unconcerned sent me for a CT scan which is clear. In July 2015 CA125 102. Next CT scan 13th September, due to concerns of fast rise. No idea why, but have been a little stressed the last few months. (children - argh!!!)
Looking forward to taking part here, support from others who understand is invaluable. I hope to contribute often.

Hi Lily Anne
Sending lots of prayers your way that the rise in CA 125 is due to something non-cancer related. Please keep us posted. Between now and the September 13 scan, try to keep focused on other things (I know easier said than done!).
Warm hugs,
Kelly
