August 18,2015~~Graduation Day
Yesterday, having a routine visit and scope schuduled with my surgeon Dr Ricardo Carrau, at The James in Columbus Ohio, I was given a total surprise and the most welcome news.
He came in with 3 of his students, did the usual poking and prodding..and of course, down the nose scope..explaining what he had done to his students. He then looked at me and said, " today, is diploma day, the cancer is gone, it's not coming back..you are cancer free" Following a big hug, laughing and smiling from my husband and the students..he cautioned, " you know to call if something doesnt feel right, and I will see you, once a year, to make sure no other tumors develop"
CSN has been a blessing to me, the friends I've made, the knowledge and advise has been priceless~~I'm not going anywhere, will post when I see an oppertunity to help someone else, and know that each and every one of you are in my prayers
