Yikes!phrannie51 said:Update:
Went to the ENT this morning, and when he looked at the scan he said "this looks great!"....said they have to mention the node because I've had cancer and it's bigger than it was in the last scan...however....the nodes I have left are doing more work because there is less of them. He ultra-sounded it so we have a baseline. I went to bed with one foot in the grave, I swear....and when I talked to him, I was ready to kneel down and kiss his feet...LOL. He ultrasounded the node, so we have a baseline, but he sees no cancer what so ever....I got my NED!! PHEW!pI figure this was a God thing....normally it takes a month to get into the ENT....and when I called yesterday to bump up my October appointment, they happened to have an opening at 7:40 this morning....took my off the ceiling fan fast!Wow phrannie! I go away for a few weeks and come back to this? But I am glad it was solved before I had a chance to be concerned. Don't they realize how damaging those type of words are to our brains?
The world is back in balance again~~~~

So glad you're all celebrating
with me. I've been reveling in "feel goods" for two days....it took one day for me to keep reminding myself that yesterday's reality is not the same today. A couple of good nights sleep helped too....Thought about the fact that I've had one sinus infection after another all summer (air conditioning in house and car)....now our air quality is smoke filled....so yeah....a lymph node might rebel a little.
Just glad that I have all you guys to talk me down off that fan....LOL. It's dusted off now, and won't need another dusting for 6 or 8 months.

So now at least you have a hand hold permanently struck into the fan blades for the next time eh? I remember the time I caught a virus and the nodes on the opposite side of my neck blew up. I went to Johns Hopkins and my surgeon said "It's cancer until we say it isn't!" Holy )*%!#!!! A stat CT and a call the next day saying it looked Ok. Two day later the nodes were reducing in size. It's a hell of a ride no matter but it's part of the journey.
I'm glad to hear all is wel. May it continue to remain that way!
Positive thoughts and prayers

So glad to hear the NED. When I read the first post I thought it was highly likely something else. By the time I got here you already had your confirmation. You did much better this time around. Next time, STOP worrying. Don
