Interesting Findings on Magnolia Extract
Anyone hear of magnolia extract being studied for inhibitory effects on RCC? It sounds really promising. Apparently honokiol, a biologically active ingredient has a major inhibitory effect on cell growth and metastases. I’m really intrigued by this. There was an artical by an oncologist in the most recent issue of Bottom Line so I searched for more info. I'm interested in what you think about it.

honokiol
I have been using honokiol for six months, twice a week IV and daily pills. I get the IV at Amitabha Medical Clinic in Santa Rosa, CA (apparently the only place in the US to get it). The pills (Honopure) can be ordered from Econugenics.
At Amitabha, the physician is Dr. Isaac Eliaz, Even though it is a relatively small clinic, patients come from all over the world for honokiol and other treatments. It seems to be keeping my RCC at bay.
Good luck with your quest.

Thank you. I’ll be honest, normally I’m pretty skeptical with these approaches but when the Journal of International Oncology and the American Association for Cancer Research presents these findings, well, there has to be something to it. So I’m paying attention.
Wishing you the best as well!

Cost of honokiol?
This is fascinating. EXErxes, how much do your honokiol pills cost? And how effective are the pills without the infusions? (I am thinking of thowhoop us who live far from California.) Does your insurance cover the costs?
thank you for your guidance,
