Today I celebrate another clear scan and CEA of 0.6
I am beside myself with joy .
This makes it 13 months since my liver ablation, 13 months with NED.
I consider myself blessed.
I have worked hard to get to this point, and will continue to work hard to stay there.
Happy me!

That's awesome news!
I've read that if you can make it for two years NED, you have a really good chance of being cured. You're well on your way!

I aksed for an answer on that question. He has been great in terms of all my questions, not sugar coating, but also willing to give an educated opinion. He told me that in his experience, two years is where most reoccurances, if they are going to happen, will happen based on what he has seen. Nothing is set in stone, but his good guesstimate is 95% will occur in two years.

I am counting down the months and hoping beyond hope that I am one of the lucky ones.
