Has anyone had Stereotactic radiosurgery??
Going to have my left kidney removed Thursday. They found some spots on my lungs and said I might have to have Stereotactic radiosurgery. That is when they pin point the cancer in the lungs and treat it with high, exact does of radiation. Has anyone had this type of therapy before?
Thanks kathyStereotactic radiosurgery???

of us have had it with great results. All you have to do is lie there for 20 minute+/- sessions. Anywhere from 5-10 treatments. The treatment is very precise. It's used more now for soft tissue than in the past. It works well on the bones. It has for me anyway.
