Great news - port removed tomorrow there's HOPE!
Had my second, 6 month follow up and lung CT and bloodwork look good. Last treatment was Sept. 2012. That is less than half of the golden "5 year survival rate" but I'll take what I can get. Wishing the same for you- please HOPE!

I've been gone....
or I would have jumped in on this post immediately! WHOO HOO!! Many prayers, good vibes, crossed digits, and whopping CONGRATULATIONS on the loss of the port.....the beast is dead and gone....and deportation has taken place.....the last vestige of a long journey.
