#12 DONE!! :)

Wow cannot believe 7 mnths have passed. Not sure what to expect now that chemo is over but in my last 7 months here I have learned to imprevise, adapt an overcome NOT just expect or accept. im not a huge "word" guy but I do post frm time to time and read posts almost daily. I want to thank EVERY person on this board for all the input an info to any an all of my questions. Sue,Cyn,Ron,Rich and all the others THANK YOU :) I could not have come this far without you. There are a few people who have passed since I "joined" this club and my thoughts and prayers go out to them and ther families on a daily basis. I guess a new phase is on its way and I look to kick its **** as I did with the chemo phase with the help of this board.. Thank you all an May God help everyone here to smile an laugh a lil bit every day we are alive. :)

    A HUGE congratulations

    image

You have earned your first Dancing Man.

What to expect? Well, you already know how that goes. Each person and their bodies handle it in their own way, If you've done well through chemo, then you will bounce right back to near normal.

One of the biggest things for me, and more so since I became the big Stage IV, is to LIVE LIVE LIVE every day, every minute. There will, for a number of years, always be a test on the horizon. First it will be CEA & CT Scans, and its an odd feeling, knowing they are coming up and NOT knowing what the results will be. I firmly believe in thinking positive until you hear any different. May you never hear negative results again.

I wish you NED NED NED from here on out.

I hope you Doctor has you remove the Port soon, thats a big step in getting back to 'normal'.

Don't forget us here. Check in when you can, you're part of the family now.

    Congrats!!!

That is wonderful to hear that it is done.  Has to be a tremendous feeling not having to look forward to the hook-ups :)

I am having #9 next week and plan to throw a party probably about a week after #12 is disconnected (Don't want to sleep through my own party ;))

Best wishes for continued good health for you.

    Within range

    2.7 is still within range.

I know after my liver surgery, my CEA was still a somewhat high, my surgeon wanted me to have another CT Scan, but my Oncologist wanted me to wait. And sure enough, my CEA dropped steadily until it reached within range.

I think our bodies don't always bounce right back after shocking them with surgeries and poisons.

I hope you are not stressing it. You're Doc is probably being cautious.

Keep us posted. (so glad Dancing Man made you smile)

maybe a few BIGGER cocktails :)

Some Vittamin B, Vitamin C and water before going to bed ;)

Has been awhile since I have hit a steakhouse in NYC. Last time  (Old Homestead) was about 15 years ago,  so maybe I will add that to the things to do when disconnected :)

Have a blast man, you deserve it.

    Thanks bro

Yes Old Homestead is a awsum steakhouse.. This STK is one of the newer steak places.. The downtown location has a rooftop bar/lounge area I'm told and after 9pm it becomes a lounge.. Will let ya knw how it is hopefully not just hype... Yes definitely will continue with the vitamin therapy I been doing .. Thanks for your support and words of encouragement..
