Collecting Duct Carcinoma

in Kidney Cancer #1

My dear friend was recently diagnosed with Collecting Duct Carcinoma it has taken over most of one kidney can anyone advise on doctors in the Michigan Ohio area that have treated this condition?  I do not know information as to what stage and specific information yet.  I do realize that it is rare and aggressive any input on treatment options would be appreciated.

    Don't have specific information on a doctor, but two very well regarded hospitals in Michigan and Ohio are the Henry Ford Health System:

    and, of course, the Cleveland Clinic.  I don't know if this link will work, but here is a listing of doctors at their main campus, and there are ratings for the doctors too:

    As you said, this is a rare, agressive form of cancer, and you may not get many responses here.  If I had to make a choice, I would go to Cleveland Clinic.

    I would highly recommend Dr.

    I would highly recommend Dr. Craig Rogers of Henry Ford hosptial.  He just did a complex Robotic partial neph on me two weeks ago and it went very well.  He's highly specialized in kidney cancer and Henry Ford is top notch for kidney in general.
