Normal people problems!
Can anyone else appreciate having a crazy day...filled with just normal people problems? You know the stuff that might bring others down? But not us!! 8 am and it's been a full day...bring on the coffee.
i woke at 5 not planning to give anyone rides. by 630 I find out that both teens need a ride ...same school, but half hour apart. Tell the girl teen (who drives but lost her car for breaking a rule) she's going to have to be ready early because I'm not driving back and forth. Much teenage drama follows..not a happy camper! Oh well. So we run out, me and the little guy still in pjs. I realize the car is on empty. Ugh! So I decide I have to drop them at school and then will stop at the gas station...in my blue Cookie Monster tshirt, pink sleep pants with snowflakes ...unbrushed hair and teeth. I say to the kids...watch this will be the time that I get the "see attendant" message when I try to pay at the pump. I jinxed myself. So I get in the car and drive to the next gas station.and same thing! I end up driving home on fumes and call the bank. My card was compromised and fraud protection shut it down. So an empty has tank, no debit card and $10 cash.
all I can thing is wow...this I can deal with! I wish all of our problems were like this.
TGIF!
and in memory of our friend Pepe, anyone want to share their weekend plans? We are cleaning the porch and hopefully opening the pool...summer is here.

Great day!
We know how to handle stress well, we're professionals.
Bless Pepe! I thought of his weekend posts, when I saw his name on the remembrance list. So sad that he is no longer here.
My husband is off work this weekend, and we have work to do in the garden. Tomato plants can go in now that the threat of frost is minimal. Living in the desert means a short growing period, and you take your chances planting, even at the end of May.
My Herbs are growing well though, and I need to get a few more. Nothing like a Herb garden to make you feel good.
Our deck needs sealing. Not our favourite job, but we'll probably get that done this weekend as well. Hubby can seal and I will plant. It's good to be alive.

TGIF Indeed
I laughed at the description of the Cookie Monster Garb I am on my chemo pump days now, no shower and kind of messy, so your outfit is high end fashion in my book. It is a bit warm out and walking around with more than required for the weather so tubes and bump of pump not quite as obvious. I may try a Cookie Monster shirt.
I am taking more photos lately, so I find myself wondering which lenses to bring so not to be too weighed down yet have what I need. Takes my mind off that other thing going on, and being a bit OCD on the photo thing, it pretty much wipes away the thoughts of that other thing from the moment I start packing the camera and until I get the photos on the computer and sorted out.
I never met "Pepe" here and I am sorry for everyone's loss. But in his memory my weekend plans - I am going to the NY Rangers Game #7 this evening and will try to get to a baseball game over the weekend.
