My dad has so far had 3 rounds of

chemo - oxy and raltitrexed . As I mentioned he has the appetite issues but is also very tierd and weak . Should we be concerned ? Before the chemo he was quite energetic and out and about and this has knocked him for 6!

on the other hand I keep thinking maybe the cancer is getting worse and could it be doing this ?

we are very worried .

    I'm sure you already know

I'm sure you already know this, but you really need to ask your fathers doctors these questions.  They will have better answers for you than anyone here can.

I would talk to the doctors

I would talk to the doctors but after and during chemo, sometimes I just slept and slept.  It's really important that he see a nutritionist and discuss all of these things with the docs. Chemo does a wammie on your body, makes you feel like you have an unending flu.

I agree that his doctor can

I agree that his doctor can advise you the best but I also have to say that chemo knocked me on my butt. I was tired and weak and felt like crap.

    Your doctor

would be the best person to answer this.  However, as most will attest to chemo can affect everyone different.  Seems to be no a typical case.  My wife handled chemo pretty good all things considered from what I can tell.  But, was tired and "run down" 3 days after the "pump" removal.
