Got another ent app on wed ........my throat on the left side is still sore like a burning sensation... I never did the the test to see if i have gerd... so will ask for another one he scoped me last time and didnt see anything....... i do get acid comming up at night sometimes so maybe that is the problem....Kinda strange its only on one side......Strange I am not sure how effective the endscopic is he did it last time..............my dentist says i need a night guard cause my ligament is irrated from grinding   who no's weather is starting to get nice that is one positive thing and how are you feeling theese days

Glad to see your post. I had clean scan end of March but in hospital now with facial cellulitis again. Meds helping should just be few days 

Still alive, when I wake up the first thing I do is to thank the Lord for another day. Hope and pray you are also doing well

For acid reflux your PCP can do all your meds but you need to see a Gastrologist to have it checked, not an ENT. The ENT might see damage it has caused. It can be one of the causes of throat cancer and also Esophagus cancer which is even worse, and it can give you Barrett's esophagus. You do not have to get heart burn and can still have GURD or even LPR which is the same except it goes higher an into your larynx. Mine I had before I got the cancer but it did contribut to geting it, but smoking was mostly what caused mine. I have to have Rx for mine and even take it twice a day to keep in under control. If you think you might have this, do not sleep on your right side as your stomach will let the acid drain and gravity will let it go to your throat, sleep on your left side and rase the head of the bed as well. Take care of yourself.
