    Thank You

Thank you for the reminder!  I'll be wearing my teal and sharing the symptoms of the "silent killer" with as many folks as possible!

    Warmly,

    Kelly

    The Avengers: Age Of

The Avengers: Age Of Ultron star Cobie Smulders, 33, is the picture of health. Which is why fans were floored when she announced last month that she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at 25. By the time the cancer — which typically strikes women twice Cobie’s age — was discovered, she had tumor on both ovaries and the disease had spread to surrounding tissue and lymph nodes.

“It’s one of the hardest cancers to detect,” Cobie tells Yahoo Health, “and it’s one of the quickest acting. Luckily, the actress sensed that something was off and visited her doctor right away — a move she calls “key” to her survival. "I think it’s all about just being in tune with your body.”

Now healthy and cancer-free, Cobie says she’s in “a really positive place”, and wants to help raise awareness. Today (May 8) is World Ovarian Cancer Day.
