The results of the biopsy were immediately done before I even woke from anesthesia .. it is indeed a recurrence. 

Not sure the plan yet .. will know more in the next week or two. 

My body wasn't lying ..

    I am glad that you were able to get your pathology results straight away, but am very sorry that you have a reoccurance. 

    Take care of yourself and we'll wait with you to find out what the next step is going to be.

    but, the good news is it was discovered and results were immediate (helps with the anxiety a bit?).

    Im sure a good plan will be put in place and this REOCCURANCE is over very soon.

    You are so smart to listen to your body, it does try to tell us so much and sometimes we ignore what it's trying to tell us, I'm glad you didn't.

    Thank you all so much for your support.  I will not let this keep me down .. just maybe slow me down for a bit ... I requested a comfy lounge chair for Mother's day to place on screen porch.  Then I can rest in fresh air listen to the birds chirp! Cool

    For some reason my addled 60s era brain keeps wanting to sing "My boyfriend's back and you're gonna be in trouble." but I'm pretty sure that's not entirely appropriate. I blame chemo brain. Anyway, I'll be thinking of you and hoping to hear that the new plan is a solid one.

    Thanks again guys for all the support .. not sure on plan yet .. I am hearing trickles of radiation/chemo then surgery then more treatment.  I am not sure what to do .. I am very worried about radiation.  I do not have a colon .. so that makes things difficult if there is any damage done during or after radiation. 

    I am thinking it is time for another road trip to get other opinions.

    I wonder about hipec .. if I am a candidate and if it is a better option.

    Any thoughts??
