Mike Thxmiker
Reading facebook today it appears he lost the fight. His wife had posted a picture of his hospital bed, his dog was sleeping with him.

Oh no, not Mike!
His post were so wonderful. He really, really worked the health food side of things, and I learned allot about juicing from him.
Two wonderful souls in one week. It is devestating!
I hope Craig was there, to welcome him into a painless existence.
I am heartbroken.
Here is his profile, before it gets deleted. thxmiker - http://csn.cancer.org/user/131132 -

CSN admins, do you do this at the request of the family? Because if not, it's really a kick in the teeth to all cancer patients.

We must start another thread about this, as I don't want to distract from this thread about our Mike.
I can't believe they won't even leave it up for people to visit in their grief. I am disheartened.

I just noticed that. I did check the link before I posted, so not too sure what went wrong.
I am happy to see it is still there, as is Craigs.
The problem of profiles being deleted still needs to be addressed, so I have started a new thread.

Hi Everyone,
Mike has been a great support and invaluable to our CSN family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mike, (thxmiker) and his family and friends.
I did some digging and for some reason when you click on the link that Trubit shared - http://csn.cancer.org/user/131132, it says page not found. Please know that Mike's account is active. To view it, please copy and paste the link above in a new browser window or you can do a username search.
Warmest regards,Kim

I have been wondering about him. As you may remember, I was able to meet and visit with him during his hospital stay in Scottsdale. He was really a great guy and I will miss him.
My condolences to Laurie and the family.

This is devistating news.
This is devistating news.
Sending my deepest condolences to Laurie, family and friends.
Mike was such a nice person, always willing to share, inspire and help. I loved to read his posts on eating healthy as he took such good care of his diet and excersize. I admired that about him.
RIP dear Mike.

Mike ...
he was such a nurturing fellow. He spoke of his love for his wife and shared stories about his animals and his lovely remote home he enjoyed so much. He was also a great cook and shared tales of wonderful meals and dinners with friends. When I was first on the board several years ago, he always reached out with kindness. I am sorry he will no longer be with us and extend courage to his family. Peace ~ Daisy

I am going to try & post the picture of his dog, it is on Facebook but appears file is to big. This really made me sad two deaths in a week. I thought Mike had more time. I realize with Cancer there just is never enough time.
Hugs to all
I found his FB page, but of course couldn't see his pictures. I am thinking of leaving a message though.

I am so sorry, Laurie. You were always by his side. Mike was such a loyal member on the board and gave many of us sound advice as well as words of encouragement. He will be missed.
You are in my heart and prayer.

Craig and now Mike. Yesterday was ANZAC day in Austrlia It is the day that Australians and New Zealanders remember all of those lost in deence of our nation. It has been a week focussed on death. Imuch prefer to remember them in life. Craig and Mike were great contributors to this board and to the sprit of survival It is up to us to honour their memory. Ro.

Really sorry to hear this. He was always so supportive and willing to share. He gave me so much information when I was diagnosed with signet ring cell colon cancer. Go rest high on that mountain Mike!
