Am I crazy?
I am new cance forum. I am just so frustrated. I was diagnosed in 2010 with DCIS triple negative 0 stage cancer, had a lumpectomy followed by chemotherapy and radiation. I chose to keep my breasts because it was a very early diagnosis and I was very healthy and wanted to do all the treatments. 12 months ago I started losing my appetite losing weight 30 pound plus and just cannot seem to find what is wrong. my oncologist and I found a lump in the same breast in the scar tissue last year. After CT scan she decided it was just scar tissue. A year later 30 pounds less I saw my oncologist yesterday and the lump is still there still sore only now my neck and shoulder are sore also. I'm having a 3d mammogram and another ultrasound on May 4th. Just not sure what to think and I'm not sure if I have faith in this doctor anymore. Have been looking through this website and researching clinical trials if I need to in the future use 1. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear what you're
Sorry to hear what you're going through. The only thing I have to offer is follow your gut. If you're not sure or you have lost faith in your Dr. then get a 2nd opinion. Don't let them put you off and don't let the test be put off. You know yourself better than anyone.
I'm not sure why you are thinking of clinical trails. The past 5 yrs they've made huge strides in treatment. Hang in there - before you worry about trials or treatment - get a diagnosis.
Please keep us posted

So sorry you are going thru all of this .. You are doing exactly what I would be doing - researching, checking on line, etc. Hard to concentrate of anything in the meantime. grrrrr
Also, check into other Oncologist in your general area - be prepared is all I am stating at this point in the game. Also, call imagining center and see if you can get in sooner for your 3D -. Just a few suggestions.
Strength, Courage and HOPE for a Cure.

Agree with ....
I agree with the other girls about a 2nd Opinion and trusting your gut and just hate you are dealing with all this stress........but that weight loss and loss of appetite does not sound right to me. What has been your FollowUp with your current Oncologist for this Triple Neg BC? I had so so many scans and bloodwork and PETs etc.... but I'm Triple Neg Invasive ....not In Situ so maybe that is the difference. You are at a good 5 year mark.......and are going to have that 3d Mammogram soon and maybe that will be good news. Sending you prayers for Strength and Courage......... and hugs. Glo
