Brain scan results tomorrow
I've been trying not to think about it but it's hard to not be a little anxious. My husband had a brain MRI last week. No symptoms, doc is just being thorough (or there is a need for money?).
After a disagreement about her policy on not releasing scan results by phone or email after his ct, she agreed that she would call us with a quick update and further discussion would take place at the appt. well no results on this so my mind is thinking the worst. I bet docs have no idea how much their words, or lack thereof, impact us.
he has also missed chemo for 2 weeks now, first due to low platelets, and then low platelets and wbc. So only one treatment of folfiri and his cea went from 120 something to under 80, but it's scary that the chemo drops his numbers so he can't get chemo. Have I mentioned i hate cancer?
Prayers and positive thoughts are always welcome.

Best of luck tomorrow with the results, waiting can certainly be tough. You'll both be in my thoughts tomorrow, send me a note when you can.

Hope
gosh Jen, these oncologists usually have the medical knowledge but lack in the people human skills. I hope they never get put in our cancer situation. Even if they did, they would not have to wait for treatment, results, surgery. The wating part is so hard. I'm sure she just overlooked calling you, but how inconsiderate. I hope you get great results and continue on with your husbands treatment with that CEA going down.

Hi Jen, I understand all the worries and anxieties. I could never sleep before every scan, every doctor's appointment, and every chemo. My husband got hospitalized twice due to the kidney infection in 2 months, we just didn't have a break, it is so exhausting. Due to the infection, we had to postpone scans and doctors appointments. My husband lost lots of weight, and he hasn't been feeling well. I worry so much, and I have lots of gray hairs growing out each day.
I will continue to pray for you and your husband. I hope you get good results. God bless you.

stay positive...
The doctor's offices don't always realize how insensitive they're being. I agree, maybe there's nothing there to tell. Let us all know as soon as you find out.

Thinking of you guys
and hoping for nothing but good news.
I do want to strangle his doctor, though. Dang it. She really needs to work on being more responsive to your needs.
Big hugs...
