Saw pain pump specialist
At the same facility I just checked out on Monday - go figure.
she adjusted my pump an increment...nothing revolutionary in pain control yet....she said lots of visits until we see if we can work with this.
it was a hard surgRey on me...if I hadn't eaten prior I thought I was too weak but we all made it:
im working on pain relied with the pump folks
no external to be used from hospice....were trying to redefine their role in mycare sine we made commitment to pump. We'll see how that goes.
they will staples in couple of weeks until tgen I wear an abdomen contain garment to hold things in place until it can settle into the cavity they created.
4 surgeries last 3 months.... I'm tired and beat on right now....amazing how really close I really was to dying.....close as ive ever been...
glad I made it through...

hey Craig, glad to read your post. And glad you made it through the surgeries. One day at a time, remember? That has been my motto for years. Each day you get a little stronger, just try to visualize that, think it and dream it.
We are all praying for your recovery.

Hope and pray that they will soon get the pain meds adjusted so that you can get relief.
Have you been eating? I was told after surgery to get plenty of protien to help the healing process. I did Boost with extra protien, a juice glass at a time.
Hugs,
Marie who loves kitties

Just keeping of tweaking the settings until they get it right, need you pain free, or at least greatly lessened. If it isn't one thing, it's another. I think to you constantly, wishing only the best for you.

Craig , I'm so sorry things are so tough. You have been so strong, supportive and brave. It's not fair. I hope you feel the love, prayers and positive thoughts coming your way.
You are an amazing guy that hasn't had the easiest path to follow, yet have been so giving with your support, advice and common sense. you have made a positive impact on my journey and I thank you.
p.s. This is, by no means a goodbye. I still look forward to more long winded posts from you! Soon! No pressure
