I've know idea what skin
I've know idea what skin thickening and markings mean Cheryl, but I am sending hugs and good thoughts your way. Do you know when your MRI is? Have you found out what the doctor meant by that?

rather than what we are use to getting. My sister now asks for the MRI one since I have bc. The MRI mammo is clearer and it shows more. Sounds like your doctor is checking to see if there is an issue or just skin thickeniing. I dont know if you had radiation? I had it on my pelvic, spine, hips and tailbone and they did a bone scan and were concerned with an area that was dense and the skin was a different. With the MRI, they found it was from radiation damage to the skin and soft tissue. That was easier than a biopsy.
Wish you the best!

If your insurance carrier - approvals the MRI - so blessed to have more in depth information, as well as a piece of mind
