NED Sweet NED 7 Months Post Treatment

I'm 7 months post treatment and nearly a year (May) since anything showed up on a scan. Yesterday, I had my 7 month follow up scans. Reports came back NED! 

Many thinks to everyone who supported me and answered my endless questions. This is an excellent group of caring people. You are all very much appreciated.

    Hi Matt.....thanks so much. I've experienced some side effects and was so worried because I couldn't distinguish the cause. I have tremendous relief because I know these are side effects and nothing sinister!

    I have radiation injury to my mouth and tongue. Not sure if this is a common one. I get little ulcers that pop up but resolve and have pain. I've got dry mouth but was treated only on one side so the other was spared. I do have saliva on the untreated side which helps. I can eat pretty much anything and have taste which is a Blessing. I feel very fortunate right about now! It's been a tough recovery for me. I'm just starting to feel better.

    NED is great to hear......

    Not that long ago you never heard the term NED, now it is like music to the ears to hear someone is NED. May all your tomorrows be NED as well and no scares too........

    Wow great news.  I beleive that the 7 month one is the most improtant.  When that one comes back NED the signs are all good.  Yep those side effects are the pits, but sounds like you are handling them well.  My wife and I started to exercise, slowly for me at first, regularly at the Y and that has been a big help.
