Musicians: a dumb idea

So I play guitar, harmonica, and used to be able to get by on mandolin and tenor banjo.

Fox plays guitar

Thax plays mandolin.

There must be a way (Skype?) that we could put some music together.

We could be Hey Hey we're the Lumpies

    thats cute  THe lumpies. I play guitar and piano, and also sing.  Now we are getting a band together. LOL

    I also play guitar and bass... There is a thing called Google hangouts where we could do it but tHere is a lag... I'm not sure if we could all play in time with each other

    That is a cool idea, FS! I would love to see it happen. I love to sing (karaoke mostly) ....but have been pleaded with to stop. So I will just be your fan club!

    If not in real time we could collaborate on a recording project. I also play guitar and have made four cigar box guitars recently. I am headed to upstate ny tomorrow to celebrate Orthodox Easter with my wife's 95 yr old father. Maybe when I get back I will lay down some rcc blues. What rhymes with pembrolizumab?

    I'm unable to play yet. My right arm isn't cooperating enough. Maybe in a couple more months.

    Surgery

    I was amazed when I had my kidney removed that it left my entire body weak. I couldnt play guitar for weeks! I still dont have the finger strength to play the mandolin

    I play recorder and sing (but hate saying I do, because I'm not a soloist, but would be glad to sing along with others). I used to play bass guitar and tuba, but haven't touched them in years.

    Looks like we have a band- or something.

    RCC Rock n Rollers?

    I am actually a musician by profession.  I play trumpet professionally, but I can also play keyboard, a bit of guitar, sing, etc.  Not being able to play my horn was one of the most difficult things I had to deal with after surgery.  I just finished playing a two-week run of Fiddler on the Roof, and wow did it feel great (mentally) to play again...but boy did it physicallly hurt.
