Recent CT scan- important message to people who fight reccurances

For those who know my mom's story she have had 2 reacurrances since her diagnosis in Nov of 2010. Since November of 2010 overall she has had at least 5 different surgieries plus biopsies here and there and radiation. Her last surgery was in on 3/2/12, her birthday. She just had a routine CT scan and I am so happy to say that she is still NED. It has been now over 3 years cancer free. It it to the point now that I am afraid to speak loud about this as I think I may jinks it however I belive that I own it to all of you to let you know that there is still hope even after 2nd or 3rd recurrance. I am thanking God everyday for this miracle. I believe all is in God's hands and HE obviously delivered for us. Please don't ever loose hope, everyone is different and everyone's path is different. Everyone please stay strong and rememebr that faith and positive thinking is important.

    Thanks for sharing Laughing We are ALL in HIS hands. I think going through this just makes us more aware of it and what this really means.

    Three years NED is so good to hear.

    She went through a lot with her first bought then all the reacurrances but hung in and beat the beast and now three years of NED. The next is Curried and that is right around the cornner for her. Thank you for letting us know with the great up date.

    By telling your Mom's story you help many people who are afraid and ready to give up.  Way to go!

    I read your post while I was anxiously (and I mean anxiously) waiting to have my 7 month post treatment scans yesterday. I just want you to know how much your message meant to me while I was waiting to go into the scanner. Your message of Hope made a very big impact on me. It helped me have courage when I felt worry. Thank you so much for posting.

    I'm thrilled to hear your mom is doing well. Yes, a cure is right around the corner. Wishing her Blessings.

    joanna, that is fantastic!  i celebrated 3 yrs cancer free in Feb.  it is a wonderful feeling of winning!  I'm very happy for you and your mom.  Doing a happy dance now!
