OH the waiting game.. so stressful and on a weekend!
I usually pick up my own copy ahead of appointment so I am prepared and can ask informative questions. But Medical records is not available on weekends.
Do you know the Serenity prayer? (God) Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
I use that prayer often.
We'll be here for you.. let us know how you are doing okay?
Gentle hug, Jan

Thinking of you and know what you are feeling. I hope you are able to get some sleep tonight and tomorrow will be
here before you know it. I am sending you positive thoughts for the outcome of your scans.
My CT scans w/ and without contrast of chest/abdomen/pelvis were on 3/31 and I don't see my oncologist until 4/8 when
he gets back from a European conference. My bloodwork prior to the scan showed a low GFR so I had to have iv
hydration prior to and after scans. Had a bad allergic reaction to the contrast dye again
this time (even w/ meds prior to) so hospital says they won't allow me have contrast at their
hospital again. I have much to discuss w/ dr. and the waiting game is taking a toll on me in each and every way.
Please take good care and keep us posted.

That's a long wait for you, Diane. I feel for you. My scans are always a week apart from the follow up visit. I always figure if it is bad, then they would call me beforehand. Howeverlasttime it was like he was looking at the scan for the first time, so now I don't know what to think! Lol
I am sorry you are allergic to the contrast. I wish there was an alternative for those that are allergic.
Thinking about you and hoping for the best results!
Keep us posted!
Hugs
