Back to Surgery!
Hi Everyone,
I had scans on March 27 and CT scan for neck, lungs, and pelvic came back with no change and everything was great. But MRI for the brain, not so good, I have another tumor, so back to surgery I go. I will let everyone know when I get my surgery date, should be within the next 2 weeks. Things are not to bad, I have asked Doc to pull skin a little extra tight so I might be able to incorporate having a brain tumor removed and a face lift all for the price of one!!
Prayers for good health!
Brenda

Surgery to come!Allochka said:Very sorry to hear about
Very sorry to hear about it... But with your attitude and humor you'll definitely be all right! Do I understand correctly that they cut it out and you are NED again?
This is my second brain tumor, I had a tumor in the brain taken out in November of 2013 and I have been NED every since. This surgery will be a little more involved, this tumor has actually burrowed down in my brain, so the receovery will not be a fast as the last one. And my husbnd has asked for some changes be made to my brain while the Dotor is in there! I just know everything will be fine, and thank you for taking this trip with me!
Love to you all!

Oh Brenda, I am so sorry to hear that a tumor has appeared again. You have had your share of battles and have been such a champ through it all - and continue to be!
We will be there with you along the way. Please keep us posted on the surgery date and on how you are doing.
Keep smiling, darling girl.

Sh!t, sh!t, and more sh!t, huh Brenda? I wish you and everyone else didn't have to go through this. One thing I am sure of is your toughness. I hope as they keep making space in your cranium, you don't hear echoes. You know I am pulling for you. Love ya' Fox.

I hate this damned disease more each day; am so sorry that you need to go through this again but wish you the very best.
And, it is good that there are no other areas so you can focus on the brain issue.

Very sorry to hear the news. But you have a terrific perspective and sense of humor. Laughter can be the best medicine. Keep smiling and laughing in the face of cancer.

Cyber Knife Radiationangec said:brenda, I know you will do
brenda, I know you will do well. wondering why they don't do radiation, was that ever possible? all the best to you! xxoo
Angec,
After the surgery I will have treatments of cyber knife radiations. This was how the last brain tumor was treated. They still feel that surgery with a follow up of the cyber knife is a good prescription for me. This brain tumor is in the right frontal lobe, and the last one was more towards the back and I had right side body numbness. The only symptom I had with this was minor headaches right across my forehead and they were constance!
This time my husband is requesting some changes while I am going to be opened up! Silly man, but I do love him so!

Brenda,
I am sorry they need to tinker yet again in your brain, but I love your spirit! Back at cha, beeatch! (That's you talking to the tumor.)
I know you will be fine, too. Isn't it wonderful when you get these gut feelings?
Chest out, chin up!

Sending you positive thoughts. Know that when you wake up from surgery, your husband will be holding one hand and we'll be holding the other. . .

That sucks!
I'm so sorry you have to go through this again. It sounds like you and your hubby have a great relationship; humor is key to living happily with another person especially in the face of illness. My hubby and I have faced Diffused Systemic Scleroderma and cancer. DSS was supposed to have killed him 8 years ago, but he's still here givin' me grief every day and celebrating my recent NED ct results for RCC. Now that I think of it why didn't I ask for liposuction while they were taking' my kidney out? Here's to you for your great attitude and humor in the face of such a sucky situation!

It is posts like yours that keep us all going! NEDs are the greatest posts on this site, keep it up and wishing and praying for your continued success in fighting this awful disease!
Love and prayers for good health for us all!
