Chest pain and Coughing-when I lay down

I have had this chest pain when I try to sleep. last week I had a chemo treatment of Avastin. I got it 2 weeks after the other chemo drugs of Taxol-Cisplatin-zometa those were on day 1 and 2. It seems this last one the Avastin made me feel the sickest and it was the smallest bag. I had a chest cold for about 2 months now with coughing does anyone think its still the cold or from the Avastin-told the doc today and they say maybe to much of all of it for me. I had lost so much weight with radiation was down to 84lbs and got now back to 96 but lost 3 when I went in last week. what do you guys think I should do?

I am on Avastin too and have the same things happening to me.

And my voice gets really hoarse for a few days after the treatment.  My doctors said this is a side effect they see and are monitoring it closely, I think it is related to higher blood pressure.  My blood pressure is normally fairly low but it has shot up under avastin.  For sleep I sometimes take a cough medicine, night time strength and elevate my head, chest a little.  I like to sleep on my sides and that seems to make it worse.  Stay hydrated too.  Stay on your doctors and onc nurses (they are the best source of info on side effects).

Remember everything is your choice.  Keeping you in my prayers.

Do you think that it can wait

Do you think that it can wait untill I go for my 2nd chemo next thurs and fri to ask them about BP pills-they didn't even mention them when I talked to the chemo nurse about it.She just said drink lots of water and if it hurts when I breath in and out. Still trying to quit smoking so she raged on that too. Only having a half of one very seldom-she got me all parinoied about it. Any one whos evr tried to quit feels what I do and have tried so many times-with this stress now and everything els going on in my life-its not easy!  thank-you for some more things I didn't think of-I appreciate it.

    Definitely hydrate and walk

I would talk to them about it for sure.  My doctor is very reluctant to prescribe those meds and prefers to monitor my blood pressure closely.  He is encouraging walking and gentle exercise (which helps) but doesn't want to add more to the mix If he can avoid it. And hydration is definitely something that helps.  Hang tough.

I drink water all day but go

I drink water all day but go to the bathroom to every couple of hrs-and all night-does anybody think this is not normal-should I go to ER and have them check my blood pressure etc.
