CT SCAN results--- similar to Kumar
hi guys, ct result is similar to Kumar. My dx 2009 1a mmmt grade 3. had the works Ned since. recently has a spotting. Pap smear normal. New Doc in Florida convinced me nothing to worry about. Internal exam had no findngs, but said I can do a Ct if it makes me feel better. Ct reads as follows: asymmetric soft tissue prominence adjacent to the left vaginal cuff measures 1.4 x 1.3 cm. No lytic or blastic lesions.
Impression: asymmetric soft tissue prominence adjacent to the left vaginal cufF. This could represent a lymph node and is of unknown etiology. Comparison with a prior pelvis CT is recommended to document stability. Doctor compared report to 2013 ct but needs the disk for a better comparison, maybe he will get it sometime this week. He said if it is the same as 2013 then it's okay if not we will do a pet scan and then go from there.
I am so annoyed with the assistant up north I asked the radiology dept to sent copies to my Doc there and they sent it she even called me and said she got it and I was hoping that the Doc (from the rock band) who is only there on Tues had a look at it instead she only received my mamo and dexa. How disappointing. Anyway, this is it for now. Hope all my sisters are coping well.

hi nempark
i am having thehi nempark
i am having the same issue with getting a disk for my urologist. I had to have the radiology department and my urologist to talk to get a medical to medical release so that they could have the dished overnightEd. That was Thursday. My urologist called me yesterday and said they did get the disk but their system couldnt open it. She was going to contact them again and call me today. I did not get a call. It is important because if my stent migrated I will have to have it fixed. If it went upwards toward the kidney they will have to removed the stent by inserting a needle through my back into the kidney. I hope they let me know soon. So now I am left hanging until the urologist can see the actual images. Or she will probably want me to get an X-ray again.
with regard to the soft tissue masses sometimes they are there but not noted in reports I like detailed reports but once you get them with the same place they just report minimal change etc etc. It makes me feel uncomfortable thinking they aren't lookinh at the scans good and just copying what was said the last time. but that's me. Lol. And I had a ct and three pet scans last yesr and one now so that is probably why.
anyway nemPark. Hang in there!
